Aotearoa New Zealand Chapter

Ko te mauri, he mea huna, ki te moana

Nau mai, haere mai. The Aotearoa Chapter of MILS was established in March 2022. Our goal is to enhance well-being in the New Zealand legal profession by educating legal professionals, academics and students about the benefits of mindfulness meditation, breathwork and other contemplative practices.

Our intention is to be a place of support, exploration, and connection for any person associated with the practice of law in Aotearoa who is interested in learning mindfulness-based practices.

The Chapter is Co-Chaired by Dr. Anna High, (Associate Professor, University of Otago) and Bridget Fenton (Crown Counsel).

We welcome you to join our mailing list below. You will receive quarterly ‘mindful New Zealand lawyer’ updates, including invitations to local events; your email address will not be shared or used for any other purposes.

We also encourage you to join the Mindfulness in Law Society by becoming a member using the Join MLS link above.
